Job Description:
Kinema Fitness is a premium fitness center operator that provides on-site wellness solutions to corporate facilities across the country. Kinema Fitness is seeking a part-time fitness manager to operate a beautiful, brand new corporate fitness center in Downtown Nashville, TN. Kinema Fitness prides themselves on creating an absolutely incredible atmosphere to our members that is built on the highest levels of customer satisfaction, member engagement, program innovation, and performance. Kinema is seeking a fitness manager that has strong leadership and communication skills with a love and passion for wellness.

The part-time fitness manager will be responsible for, in conjunction with the general manager, of ensuring that we exceed expectations in the areas of member engagement, customer service, facility upkeep, wellness programs, and personal training. The part-time manager will assist the general manager in creating an outreach strategy to the employees within the building to broaden the reach of the fitness center. These programs will include events, workshops, in-department meditation, chair massage, and other services. You will be working closely with the general manager and Kinema Fitness’s team to develop and implement the vision and strategy created with a very extensive opportunity for personal training and teaching classes.

As fitness manager you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding certain performance metrics and goals. To achieve these goals, it is prudent to be proactive, detailed oriented, organized, and innovative.

Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Create a culture of excellent customer service similar to luxury hospitality, that is tailored to the needs of the members and client
  • Develop a strong personal training program that will become a cornerstone of the corporate fitness center
  • Assist the GM on daily responsibility and tasks
  • Assist with developing and maintaining a class schedule that is built from member and client feedback
  • Work closely with Mindbody app and web based version
  • Conduct reporting on fitness related information including personal training and class participation
  • Create an outreach strategy to generate additional personal training clients
  • Ensure that all equipment is in working order
  • Must be responsive to feedback from members
  • Implement and grow holistic wellness solutions as well as other wellness related services
  • Assist with upkeep and management of recovery equipment including cold plunge, saunas and more
Requirements:
  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • CPR/AED
Job Type: Part-time / 20-24 hours per week
Shifts include Monday - Saturday
